How to integrate with Freshdesk

Problem Statement

Freshdesk accepts any From mails even it is not from the authorized source for the ticket creation and comment. No matter it is from M365 or Gmail or others, using the DL approach to send a copy of the email which makes a spoofed sender. It is not a legitimate email for Sorb to send.

For example, From sender@gmail.com, To xxx@freshdesk.com. However, your own customer.com.

Solution

For M365, please create a connector to route the traffic via MX directly instead of sending to Sorb smarthost FQDN by the steps below.
